“Managing cash flow for an IRA-owned property” – The IRS requires a buffer between an IRA holder and that IRA’s assets; so, how is an IRA holder supposed to control their self-directed real estate asset?  During this presentation, Clay Malcolm, Business Development Manager for New Direction IRA, will introduce the basic set-up and parameters for self-directed IRAs.  We will then discuss, in more detail, the boundaries of an IRA holder’s participation in a real estate asset.  Also, we will explore the options for managing income and disbursements associated with IRA-owned real estate.   Knowing how an IRA can acquire real estate and how to arrange the cash flow to and from that asset can mean that you are able to utilize your investing expertise at the same time that you are taking advantage of the tax benefits associated with retirement accounts.
